Congratulations Graduates!

The Massage Therapy Program honored graduates of the class of December 2011 at a ceremony and reception on Monday, February 6. Nearly 100 men and women were handed diplomas awarding them an Associate in Occupational Studies degree.
After welcoming remarks by faculty member Thom Paul, Institute President William C. Ehrhardt spoke, enjoining graduates to “communicate through your heart and your hands and be happy!”
Speakers included faculty member Denise Lowe, graduating student Brandy Pinder (selected, as is the tradition, by members of her class), and Lucy Liben, Dean for Massage Therapy.
After the ceremony, held in the beautiful hall at Community Church of New York on East 35th Street in Manhattan, graduates, family members and friends were treated to a reception. Here, the taking of photographs continued, accompanied by food, laughter and many hugs.
Congratulations to graduates of the class of December 2011 and best wishes on the next part of your journey. Next stop: create a listing for the Locate a Practitioner directory on our website!
